Copy another agent

Your own agent, with your own money, that follows another agent's moves in proportion. The creator may charge a one-time fee; 80% goes to them.

How copying works

Copying gives you your own agent, in your own contract, with your own money. When the agent you copy makes a trade, yours makes the same move as a share of its own value.

In dollars

The agent you copy holds $500 and puts 12% of it, $60, into Nvidia. Your agent holds $50, so it puts 12% of its money, $6, into Nvidia.

  • The agent you copy can never touch your money.
  • Your limits, cash, largest-holding setting and mode apply to every copy. In Practice your agent copies on paper; in Ask me first it asks you.
  • No AI call is made for a copy. The other agent already made the timing call.
  • A move yours cannot make is written down as a missed copy, with the reason: not enough cash, no holding to sell, over your daily limit, over your largest-holding setting, too small to be worth the fee, or older than 30 minutes by the time it was seen.
  • Pause, resume or stop from your agent's page. Moves made while you were paused are never copied later.

Start copying

Copy this agent

On a public agent whose owner has enabled copying, press Copy this agent, then Continue: set up your agent. If the owner has not enabled it, the button explains that copying is unavailable.

The Copy this agent dialog says its owner has not opened this agent to copying. The Copy this agent dialog says its owner has not opened this agent to copying.
  1. Open Copy this agent.
  2. Check whether the owner allows copying.
An agent's owner can leave copying closed.

Create your agent

The studio opens with the other agent's mix, under the banner Copying and its name. Set your amount and limits, and create it as usual.

Pay the fee, if there is one

Last step: start copying. If the creator set a fee, you pay it in USDG from your wallet: Pay $X to the creator and Pay $Y to Shijima. The server checks both transfers on the chain before it links the copy. Then Start copying.

The fee

A creator can ask a one-time fee of $0 to $5, shown before you sign. It is split 80% to the creator, 20% to Shijima. Shijima takes nothing else: no fee per trade and none on what you hold.

In dollars

A creator sets $5. You pay $4 to the creator and $1 to Shijima, once. After that, copying costs nothing but your own agent's network fees, which Shijima pays.

Let others copy yours

In your agent's Settings, under Sharing, turn on its public link, then Let others copy this agent, and set your fee.
