Live or Practice
New agents start live. Practice is always one tap away, in either direction.
Live means your agent trades for real, inside your limits. Practice means it looks, thinks and decides exactly as it would live, then writes down what it would have done and spends nothing.
New agents start Live unless you choose Practice when you create one. You can switch either way at any time, in your agent's Settings, under Trading. No transaction is needed to switch.

- The starting amount becomes zero.
- Select Practice with no money.
- The preview confirms Practice.
Which to choose
| Live | Practice | |
|---|---|---|
| Looks at your account and the market | yes | yes |
| Asks SERV Reasoning when to act | yes | yes |
| Writes every decision in the record | yes | yes, as “would have” |
| Spends money | yes, inside your limits | never |
| Telegram tells you | “I did this” | “I would have done this” |
| Idle cash goes to the savings vault | when it acts on its own | no |
Practice is useful when you want to watch how it thinks before trusting it with money, or when you have not funded it yet.
Why live is the default
Your money's protections are the same in every mode. Your contract refuses any trade over your per-trade or per-day limit, and only your wallet can ever withdraw. A waiting period in Practice added friction, not safety, so it was removed on 25 September. Your agent's practice checks are still counted and shown as its track record.
Live has two flavours, Ask me first and On its own. See modes.
